Pete Doctor is back to direct the sequel and will be on the writing team as well.
It is also rumored that John Goodman and Billy Crystal will be back to play Sulley and Mike. I really hope that rumor is true because those characters matched their voices very well in the original.
Pixar will develop the film, and there is a chance that it will be made in Disney Digital 3D.
Disney has also given a release date for the movie of November 16, 2012 making it the preliminary choice for 2012 family movie of the holiday season.
